"Quick drawing of Prishe", right. If there's anything I learned from having passionate discussions with artists about AI art, it's that drawing is neither easy nor quick. This likely took at least a few hours, especially since it's colorized.

Kinda sounds like Makoto Kikuchi.

Although Makoto is more of a shounen protagonist cool type of tomboy than actual prince out of shoujo manga type Sakuya is probably representing.
Sakuya would be something in between Makoto and Shijou Takane.

Besides, the case should be clear. If danbooru's free speech is absolute, then saying slur in comments should be okay. If it's not absolute, then there's no reason why gratuitous slurs in picture is acceptable but not in comments, and it's therefore okay to debate how acceptable is the picture.

Not sure I understand the correlation here. Why would we hold art to the same standard as the comment section? The art is the lifeblood of the site while the comments are secondary to that.

All of the complaints about this particular pic center around the use of one word, which doesn't really speak for the actual overall quality of the actual post in question. Some comments have addressed that they don't believe the art itself is of sufficient quality, which would ordinarily be a more worthwhile topic of discussion, but then we have to ask why the same people don't hold various other thank you chainsaw man (meme) to the same degree of scrutiny, seeing as there are plenty of posts which anyone can easily argue are of relatively lower quality.

Thanks for stopping by, but please keep your comments in English so that everyone can understand them.

Is this mandarin? 🤔

The art's good which I guess is reason enough to keep it, but the joke's lame and I know danbooru doesn't have joke quality control but idk man, there's ways to structure the use of the word into a proper joke that's actually funny and then there's "Kramer at the Laugh Factory"

oh shit we're still arguing about this post? can i mention my totally irrelevant opinion that i think it's distasteful but ultimately it's whatever because danbooru is a site for archiving art, even if it's a shitpost art piece?

I don't think it's irrelevant, comments exist for discussions and you've participated, I agree with you completely btw, is this post funny? Nah it's pretty lazy and shit, but that (or the fact it uses slurs) is not a reason to arbitrarily decide to erase it. Never thought I'd say this but I'm fully on the mods side here

now that it's gotten this reaction, it is a lot funnier. if people didn't react like this the word wouldn't be as powerful and OP wouldn't even exist.
