Actually, that has been a legitimate concern for many as Israel and the Zionists have really been digging themselves in with the tech sector in an attempt to amass soft power. The goal with this soft power seems to be to target people such as journalists, politicians and activists that are critical of the state and to further enable their "greater Israel project".

Even for people not of a conspiratorial bent it must surely be alarming how closely entwined Zionist interests and the AI/surveillance complex are, not to mention their influence over the MSM and politics.

You're in a rental and not allowed to draw wire through the walls usually.
Otherwise, usually just a style thing for having less wires or using the desktop as a luggable.
And of course the usual "build this for a stupid member of my family who can't be trusted to leave the wires plugged in because someone told them they could make a PC "wireless" by just cutting the wires".

My desktop has WiFi, I just never use it but it just came with this motherboard and the WiFi-less variant wasn't on sale.

Goes to to my point. Mossad isn't going to give a shit about controlling just one OS, let alone a minor one. The crack that "Mint is foreign controlled by Israel" doesn't impress, because no one cares. The right-wing in Israel have their sights on bigger scores, and an obscure OS touted by hipsters is going to be pretty low on the priority list. And I've tried Mint, and I don't get the immature anti-MS hype lofted toward it.
