Debating whether this should be tagged with shin_megami_tensei. Some of the characters (Scathach, Ushiwakamaru, Cu Chulainn, for example) are holding the same pose as their incarnations in SMT. Not sure if that warrants the tag or not?
If the theory that Meursault is constantly on the cusp of Distorting a second time and is suppressing his own thoughts and emotions beyond the bare minimum necessary to stave it off is true, I'd imagine he'd see Carmen pretty much every day.
