Howto's and help's

Looks good, I can basically agree with that. Not sure how others feel about the pubic hair line, though. Almost none of the images I've uploaded have any so I guess I haven't thought about it as much. My instinct would be explicit, but I can see cases where it'd be questionable only.

When I posted post #115406 and post #383600, I went questionable for pubic hair alone. I personally don't see them as fully explicit, but if they showed much more I would.

At that amount I'd probably go questionable, yes.

These all seem very excellent, thanks for taking the baton from me guys. I've written a howto:upload (using the various guidelines already in place, and adding a few general bits of advice), although I have a nagging feeling I've forgotten some important points, so feel free to edit and add.

I just add wiki-links in howto:rate. It may be good to understand, but may be overdoing. Feel free to unlink some (or all.)

I've fixed the wiki link for watermark. As for the links for the bookmarklet and the Firefox extension, they lead to 404 pages.

That's because the closing parentheses ) at the end of them are somehow included as part of the link. Following the links and manually removing the ) from the end of them results in success.

Gah. I added an extra space at the end of the links, even though it's ugly.

What's the status of these?

I wrote a couple howto: articles for Moe Imouto. Not all of them are appropriate for main Danbooru, but you can copy bits of them (I copied some from here).

Though it's from half a month ago, the guide was very helpful. Hopefully more will spring up: I'd love to get involved with helping the site, even though I'm new.

I'd say that about:mod_queue, howto:upload, howto:comment, and howto:rate are easily up to par, minor tweaking may be required as we go, but overall they cover exactly what we need right now.

What about a howto:tag entry? We seem to have a lot of tags that should be used and aren't, and then we have useless tags coming up a lot. Another thing that might be nice is an index page of some sort, about:danbooru or something similar that provides a little information on the site then has the links for the rest of the howto/help articles.

I'm more than willing to help out with these, but I just wanted to check in to see if the rest of you find such articles necessary.

I'm sure more can be added but what is there looks good, generally.

As for linking forum #2047, that thread is pretty old now and I wonder if there might be anything in it that doesn't reflect current tagging practice. I guess it still works as a general overview though.
