Art from western games?

So, what's Danbooru's policy regarding artwork of or inspired by western games? I noticed a few games are accepted (Or at least tolerated) like Half-Life, Portal and Gears of War, but what about God of War, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max and others? Can those be posted too?

It mostly depends on the style of the art. I know most of the Portal images are done by Japanese artists in anime styles, and tend to be personifications of the turrets or GladOS, etc. Western-styled art is off topic and is almost always not accepted. I very much doubt you could find acceptable art for Sam & Max.

So, it's mostly due to western-inspired/styled stuff not being pleasant to look at moreso than any bias against the subject matter itself?

On that: What's up with Simpsons porn? Huh? Huh? Srsly, though, it's hardly even LOL-inducing compared to how buzz-killing some of it is (and I haven't even bothered delving into it much; paheal has some surprisingly awesome Simpsons stuff, though; very impressive).
