Why not the other way around? There's precedent for either but the other way makes more sense to me.

I picked ponyplay because it's the more-used tag, but since you mention it I think pony_play actually does make more sense.

The tag alias ponyplay -> pony_play has conflicting wiki pages. pony_play should be updated to include information from ponyplay if necessary.

The tag alias ponyplay -> pony_play has been approved.
