Because, as was pointed out in the Harry Potter thread, Ashe's full name is a royal pain in the ass to type.

So, /ashe -> ashelia_b'nargin_dalmasca

I'd rather have an ashelia_b'nargin_dalmasca -> ashelia_dalmasca alias. There is no reason to include her middle name in the tag in the first place.
