Removing negative feedbacks from own profile

Posted under Bugs & Features

Currently, mod+ staff can delete or edit any feedback, including negative records given to them by other users. Should that be restricted so that one can't edit or remove feedback given to them?

Personally, I don't see current configuration as a significant enough problem, since such behavior can be brought up in forums if that happens; however, some users disagree, so I want more opinions.

Also, I think a mod action should be recorded when a feedback left by other user is edited or deleted.

Not sure I see it as necessary given, as you said, other places exist to report such behavior. Also if a mod tried to cover that up on the forum it'd leave more of a record and add a good justification to remove them from their position all together.

I'd agree that the mod actions should be recorded with they edit or delete feedback left by other users.

Submitted a fix for it even though yeah, it's not a real problem. Probably the most realistic scenario would be a mod account getting hacked then the hacker deleting any negative feedbacks or forum posts to hide their tracks.

Regarding mod actions, really I think nearly anything requiring privileges should be logged. Especially editing and deleting comments, that's way easier to abuse than user feedbacks. And the mod actions log shouldn't be deleted after only three days either, that defeats the whole purpose. Made issue #2776 for this.

Well, such ideas are always coming when something like this has happened before. And it indeed did, so I want to make sure what the "rules" are regarding this issue about moderators removing neutral/negative feedback from their record, because it seems fishy that a moderator could keep their record clean this way.
If the feedback per se is unjustified or not, one should at least talk with a second moderator about this and then decide.
Maybe it was also done this way that there was an internal discussion going on with someone else and then this mod didn't single-handedly remove this feedback.
But hypothetically, if a user A is complaining about mod X upload habits (just an example), should mod X then be allowed to single-handedly remove this feedback?
