incomplete works

Posted under General

Sorry if this seems like a waste of time to address, but I didn't see a question on it by searching the forum and I thought this might be good to know and bring up publicly, both for my own knowledge and so future users could search it (as is a lot of the reason I ask questions publicly).

What's the policy on incomplete/unfinished works?

I mostly mean anything that's not colored all the way, like in the link below (copy and paste into URL address bar).

I think that tag started with stuff like post #93116 and post #61707. As you can see Albert has uploaded some of them, although I think the ones I added were more because there was no full version available at the time and because I thought using toolboxes to censor the image was amusing. I actually prefer to see line art and roughs like post #107686 as it shows something of the work that goes into creating the images.

Seconded. I also tend to prefer WIPs to very many (most?) of the finished works. Therefore early versions should be uploaded whenever possible, availability of the complete ones notwithstanding.

I don't remember if I started the tag or not, but I was mostly using it with frapowa, since he loves to upload his stuff in stages.

Those are some of the oldest pics in the tag, but I don't think I added the tag myself.
