*shrug* I think the numbers makes more sense than the full blow out title.
Additionally I'm kind of against the star_ocean_2 -> star_ocean_second_evolution, it just seems kind of off to me. I'm not too knowledgeable on the series, but I am aware that it was a remake of star ocean second story and the name second evolution to me would imply more that it's emphasizing that it's a remake of the original and nothing more. The same would be for star_ocean_first_departure, the title I think is to emphasis the fact that the game is a remake of the game star ocean 1 and not a naming of the original's storyline.
Not quite sure how to say it, but pretty much like with the remake of Resident Evil, the game was updated but the content wasn't really changed and you wouldn't be going around renaming resident evil 1 with the tag "resident evil remake". The characters and storyline are for the most part the same, aren't they?
Well, if the number is not part of the name, then I think the argument for going with the titles is stronger. And yes, I'd add shortcut aliases if we go ahead with this. Any objections from anyone?
I have no problem, though with so2 I'm in favor of using second story instead of second evolution. My preference on so1 would be to not go with the title, since the original didn't have it and personally I think the subtitle is to only distinguish it as a remake. On the other hand using the subtitle would free up the star_ocean tag to cover the full series and at the same time allow people to find material specifically from the first game.
Which is exactly why I think we should use the subtitle for SO1, so we have the blanket tag and can also search specifically for SO1 stuff.
There's not a huge amount of it, but since its so dwarfed by SO2 and SO3 images, you have to negate those tags to get to them, and that is very inconvenient.
I went ahead and made the new names into copyright tags (they were still "general") and noticed that star_ocean_4 is doing that thing where it doesn't return any related tags.
