I'd rather it be an alias.

Pretty difficult for someone to tell the differenceand a lot of images tagged sipping aren't really clear.

+1 to aliasing.

+1 for alias, I don't think it can be distinguished in 99% of cases.

Alternative for vote. In theory sipping should be for drinking straws and such, but drinking_straw drinking has ten times the amount of sipping drinking_straw, so sipping needs to be populated quite a lot if we want it to be its own tag.
