Tag Discussion: artist

Not as in, the artist of an image. But artist as a standalone noun. What does danbooru use it for, exactly?

I had imagined there was a tag already, considering posts like post #143329, but that doesn't have the tag. There are only two approved posts with the artist tag, and I personally can't make heads or tails of why post #429463 and post #423440 have the tag.

Admittedly, it's a small tag. Only 2-3 images currently. So maybe no real elaboration will happen, but I figured I'd bring it up for discussion.

The elaboration is that someone messed up. There is no current use of an "artist" tag. I imagine the meaning is often conveyed through things like painting or sculpting or paintbrush, etc. That is, instead of tagging an occupation (which will usually require a guess), we're tagging the visual element, whether a tool of the trade or an action.
