Disambiguate Comiket

I don't really understand what those tags are for. Many of the posts have no reference to comiket within themselves, just mention of it in the commentary, and a lot don't even have that. This isn't normally how we use copyright tags, I don't get why we have tags for, presumably, posts released at comiket.

Also, comiket is an event held at a specific location, not an actual location itself, shouldn't the qualifier be (event) or something?

Yeah the individual tags are mostly for covers of doujinshi released during specific events. Not sure how useful that is for us.

For what it's worth, there are artworks such as post #5303341, or post #3245263, which are about the artist going to that specific comiket.
I wouldn't be against a nuke of the tags, but before that, they should probably be sorted between artworks who reference the event directly, and artworks which are just part of doujins sold at that event.

Wouldn't those posts just be tagged comiket? I don't think we really need separate tags for each comiket event just for those.

And should comiket be general? Reitaisai, the Touhou only convention, is a copyright.

I don't think first one should, since it doesn't show the comiket as a location? Unless we want to do away with that distinction, it should go under a different tag.

It already doesn't have that distinction, as far as the wiki is concerned.

post #5303341 references the event by my interpretation. Quite a few of the doujin releases in the individual comiket tags are also incorrectly tagged comiket without even any mention of it in the image itself, much less a physical depiction of the event.

Even a lot of the posts that do physically represent the event are a lone booth and not really describable as a "location": post #5127508 post #5018034

Most posts tagged with comiket are works that the artist intends to sell at Comiket, this information usually obtained from the post commentary.

The minority of them refer to Comiket itself as a convention so making a distinction between both would be useful, maybe updating the comiket tag into comiket_(event) and for posts that illustrate the Comiket convention within them, to tag them with comiket_(location) as well (so they both have event + location tags).

And to also create the implication of convention for whenever comiket_(location) would be tagged.
