create alias reversed_text -> mirror_writing
Same thing, seems like some people have intuitively tagged reversed_text to some posts, presumably due to not knowing about mirror_writing.

I'd actually prefer this alias to be reversed. mirror_writing sounds like a tag for writing on a mirror, while reversed_text is fairly self-explanatory.

To be honest, I agree with this. I just saw that mirror_writing has more posts and a wiki so thought it's more appreciated here.
Also having reversed_text would clear up the confusion between mirror_writing & glass_writing.
"Reversed" isn't the same as "mirrored". You can test it yourself: Write "SDRAWKCAB" on a sheet of paper, hold it in front of a mirror, and see if it spells "BACKWARDS".
Mirror writing is well-studied in psychology to where it shows up easily on Google, but if you want to be completely unambiguous, I guess we could use "mirrored_text" instead.

Messed up the BUR, may be better to make it an alias instead.

So are we nuking revesed text completely? I don't think it should be merged into mirrored text.
All the posts under reversed_text were of the mirrored variety, so I used a rename to clean it out.
The tag isn't aliased, so it's still open for use should an example appear.
There's also backwards text which does contain some examples of non-mirrored backwards writing like post #2337564 and post #2330206
