Update category of tags nika_lan_linh and nika_linh_lan into character tags

Posted under Tags

I'm trying to change the newly created tags nika_lan_linh and nika_linh_lan from nijigen_project wiki from general into character tag but every time I searched for the tags on the tag search function it either said timeout error or it couldn't be found. I also tried to add "character:" into the prefix but it didn't seem to work correctly either. I hope someone could help me with this issue since I'm fairly new to categorizing tags

Link to the homepage of Nijigen Project (two new VTuber had been added lately and I wanted to update the tag wiki): https://virtualyoutuber.fandom.com/vi/wiki/NIJIGEN

That's because you didn't actually make a tag for either. Writing up a wiki doesn't automatically create a tag for the corresponding wiki, and because you didn't actually make a tag, you can't change what category they are. If you had made a tag, either should pop up in the Tags section search, but they don't.

Until you actually make the tags, by putting them on a post, you aren't able to change their category. So upload some of art of the two, or something.

Oh, I think I see what you mean. I've gone ahead and added the tags to the posts you uploaded: post #6045201 (nika_linh_lan) and post #6045194 (nika_lan_linh).

All you had to do to make them character tags was to upload the post and, when adding tags, type "character:[character_name]". The same goes for copyright, where you would just add "copyright:[copyright_name]". The tags will automatically update once you press upload. The "character:" and "copyright:" prefixes won't show in the submitted post's tag list unless you made a typo.

Edit: It'll take a while to officially(?) update, so after the first post with the new tag you'll just have to copy+paste or type it out. I've noticed after a few hours the new tags will start in the tag search to show up once you're typing out the names.
