In order to standardize with the same weapon models made by B&T (B&T APC and B&T APC556). The company name is more well known under the abbreviation B&T AG. For the similar reason we have the tag H&K MP5 instead of non-existent Heckler-Koch MP5. Surely most of us know what type of gun it is.
I'm sure gun-related tag BURs always have lesser votes and support compared to other kinds of BUR from most Danbooru users, even experienced ones sadly.

You have been told multiple times to knock it off with you constant complaining and thinly-veiled accusations of a grand anti-gun bias conspiracy between builders when the reason your BURs only get 3-4 votes is because literally just you and the same 2-3 people actually care about this level of specificity in gun tagging.

Apologies, I did not even blame other builders. Many of them are really constructive. But I found the contrasting popularity between forum topics and BURs to be inconsistent. I am 100% sure most of us know basic firearm recognition by the model. And there are so many knowledgeable users here with vast experience of tags. I am here not to debate, but to discuss and cooperate about tag implications. To be honest, I need to confess that weapon-related BURs do have simpler thought process compared to copyright or character name-related ones. Regarding a level of specificity on gun tagging, I just want to main the level of correctness of tagging without causing tag clutter. Please look back at the following:
forum #238062 - Better tag all Glockhandgun models with a single catch-all "Glock". No distinguishable external features between each specified models but insignificant size and length. Even for the 18C one.
