Yes. They're chemically almost the same substance but they are presented in different fashion and consumed in different ways, see here
While I understand the intent behind the alias, we shouldn't do it. It'd be like aliasing snow to ice.
If they're different enough needing two distinct tags, then crack cocaine needs a wiki, update cocaine to help differentiate the two, and both tags need cleaning up. Visually I see no difference when comparing posts between both tags.
