BUR #22823 has been rejected.
create implication zatsune_miku -> hatsune_miku
Most zatsune miku posts already have hatsune miku tagged regardless of whether or not she's in the image and besides she is the same character but with a different color palette.
This just isn't true. Excluding situations like cosplays and character dolls, there are only four solo Zatsune Miku posts also tagged as Hatsune Miku, and she's been a separate person from Hatsune Miku from the beginning. This doesn't seem like it would do anything other than make it slightly more difficult to find both characters together.

Fair enough. I thought that since sakura miku implies hatsune miku already, zatsune miku probably classified as well.

Well Sakura is an official derivative and Zatsune isn't.
What is up with the recent tag merging recently? What goal are you guys pursuing? All it does is making search more and more dumbed down, and finding something specific is near impossible. And if you are concerned about posts missing from the search because of incomplete tagging, this is not a solution - tagging library is.
