The difference between zouri, okobo, geta, and flip-flops

Posted under Tags

Hello there!

I just noticed that most users can't tell the difference between these tags, so I will elaborate:

Zouri - These sandals are usually in paired with kimonos or any Japanese-related clothing. (e.g. post #2981125, post #4869070, post #7109030)

Okobo - These sandals are just like zouri but with platforms. (e.g. post #3738930, post #1226672, post #4476962)

Geta - These sandals have wooden base with two "teeths". (e.g. post #152581, post #295447, post #361448)

Tengu-geta - Just like Getas, but with only one "teeth".

Flip-flops - These sandals are usually worn during summer or casual clothing. (e.g. post #480446, post #5389065, post #4645635)

The definitions are fine but what's this post trying to say?

Most users misstag these y-shapped sandal tags. (E.g. There are still a lot of okobo in geta tag that still needs to be fixed.)

Yes, and? Are you proposing a solution? If you're just giving out a fact why post it to the forum, just add it to the wikis.
