(Did you know Pixiv has 8.7k works tagged Tamagotchi? Danbooru only has around 300, and those are mostly just cameos of the toys!)

Now for whatever godforsaken reason when I was originally working on this I used the English names of the copyrights even though I used the Japanese character names...

So this aliases the English copyright names to the Japanese, to make things consistent. Using the English names of the characters would be more of a headache to change; not because most have different names, but because of cases like Angelgotchi where literally all of the introduced characters would need renamed.

Just a few EN name utility aliases for characters. Most characters have the same names in EN and JP, but a few don't. (Which is another reason why using the EN copyright names is odd, since the names that are altered are using the JP names.)
