Ok, to understand what's going on:
- we have single side bun for any type of bun where there's a single one on the side
- we have double bun for any type of symmetrical hair buns
- these two bun tags don't describe the type of bun, just the count
- side up bun is attempting to tag a style of bun like post #8026955 where not all of the hair is in the bun, just a portion of it
Is this correct? Then this tag has merit. The main problem that I see is that the name is pretty confusing. I assume it's a play on one side up, but I'm not finding any relevant result on google. When I opened the tag I had assumed it was a duplicate of single side bun from the results.
Looking into it, I suppose that's because it's very rare to have all of one's hair bundled up on a single bun on the side. Given that there's many cases of double buns like this like the one I linked above, it probably makes sense to keep this tag.

there was a post there before after the bot but its gone now
Yeah I deleted my post to rewrite it, because I realized I had misunderstood what this tag was for.
