Feature Request: "Preview Post" for Comments

Dunno if this should be brought up in those site updates/changes thread, but it'd be nice to preview comments for posts, such as to see if BBCing will work right.

Maybe it will be useless and slowdown this forum...

There's no reason why it would cause much in the way of slowdown.

I usually just post my comment and then delete it and start over if it needs any revising. Are normal members not able to do this? Though I suppose it would be a convenient feature, it would also add some clutter to post pages and comment lists.

We can, but since I'd suppose many people use the "post without bumping" button, and thus might not see their post on the Comments page redirect, it'd be convenient to see the result before finishing business at a given post.

Snuck up on me that this was implemented. However, has anyone else tried using it with the first comment of a post? Nothing showed up when I tried.

Works for me. It could be that your connection just timed out. Trying it again should work.

It seems that anything that comes after the number sign (#) in a comment does not show up in the preview.

Comments containing question marks or ampersands are also broken. This could have been T5J8F8's problem.

Didn't use either of those for the comment in question, but I did use the "word":link thing.
