[Solved] Danbooru only works ok while logged in as admin? (root server)

I managed to get danbooru running on my server and after I uploaded something I could view the Posts and Index while logged in as admin. Guests and users can view the comments page but not the images or the index.

Did I get a bad SVN export or what could be wrong?

While I'm not super familiar with the inner workings of Danbooru, judging by the error message and the fact that admins can view posts but not guests, I'd say it has something to do with the advertisement system. Try disabling it or adding a test ad.

Sounds reasonable but I can’t access http://foxbox.cc:10000/advertisement/index
so I can’t add or disable Advertisement.. x.x

You can disable advertisements by editing CONFIG["can_see_ads"] in config/default_config.rb.

That'd be it. When I deployed Danbooru the other day, I noticed it exploded when I tried to view posts as a non-admin. I figured it had to do with something that only regular members could see - ads.

I just removed the code that inserts advertising into the pages completely, but I would've simply edited that if I had known about it before.

Edit: And for the record, it's called "Bapabooru" ;]
