BUR #40207 has been rejected.

create alias applying_makeup -> applying_own_makeup

Right now, applying makeup applies to both applying one's own makeup and applying it on another person. But we also have applying_another's_makeup, which is only for the latter. I think applying one's own makeup should be given its own tag and the name made more explicit. This will put it in line with other own/another pairs, which alias the "general" tag to the "own" tag.

The tag will need to be gardened first.

There's is an implication from applying_lipstick to applying_makeup that may need to be considered. I assume we probably don't want to split the tags for applying specific kinds of makeup. Although maybe the handful of more specific tags don't really need to exist in the first place.

Only somewhat related, but this seems like an appropriate thread to ask: any appetite for an applying_cosmetics umbrella tag to parent the two makeup tags, applying_manicure, and applying_pedicure?

I also considered doing that, but when I saw the aliases of the others, I assumed that was the standard and there wouldn't be any point in trying to deprecate it. But I'll go ahead and write an alternate BUR for this.
