Implying Exedra to Magic Record?

Magic Exedra (released on late March 2025) is the successor to the original Magia Record, which was shut down on end-July 2024 (end-October 2020 for English version). It helped that Magia Record after the final shutdown on Japanese servers converted into archive app for players to view their accounts until mid-October 2024, and would contain a transfer code for Magia Record players to enter into then-upcoming Exedra for bonuses such as the ability to transfer archival material such as card art and data along with receiving a special Portrait. As such, I felt that I had to imply this. Any questions?

Dude, those two games are remarkably different. In fact, Exedra goes through both the original Madoka Magica anime and Sadness Prayer of Oriko Magica as well as part of Magia Record at time of writing this. An implication of this nature would be castatrophic for any Magia Record fans. It's a spiritual successor, not a sequel.

I never said it was a sequel. I only said it was a successor. Also, I made this BUR to see whether is it's worth implying.

Exedra takes a lot from Magia Record, yes, but it also features spinoff characters from completely different parts of the franchise, including Mahou Shoujo Oriko Magica, Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica, and Mahou Shoujo Tart Magica.

Some, but nowhere near the extent of which Exedra incorporates them.

Exedra is very obviously its own thing.
