mass update countdown_illustration -countdown -> countdown -countdown_illustration
These seem to be redundant. Although countdown can be used for representations of countdowns in an image that aren't part of a series of countdown illustrations, that's not the intended usage for the moment, as stated in the countdown's wiki.

create implication countdown_illustration -> promotional_art
create implication countdown_illustration -> official_art
Alternatively, make countdown illustration a subset of official promotional material? This seems a bit superfluous, but I don't know.
I think your first proposal would probably be better as something that transferred everything to one tag and deprecated the other?
I don't think either that or the current one should pass in the current moment without tag redefining however, as many don't have any sort of number which seems to be necessary for countdown but not the meta tag.

Do we have a tag for that one drawing trend where a character counts down for another character to cum? Things like post #7598678 or post #7874913. Might be worth creating counting down for characters actually counting down to distinguish it from actual countdown illustrations.
