I only agree with that for like certain Anime/manga/Game names. Slightly different topic but always had an issue with Cave Story being "Doukutsu Monogatari" on here. No one in the west uses the Japanese name for that game at all
Back on topic, I agree with the crowd that titfuck is way too crude and most people I know just use Paizuri. Might as well make fellatio into Blowjob while we're at it.

this is in line with how we use the original name for all japanese media, though, or am i misreading something?

There are exceptions, when it's just that more well known by its English name. Like Shinseiki Evangelion and Ookami to Koushinryou, or to a lesser extent Pocket Monsters.

if that's the case then Cave Story should indeed be renamed to its english name. i can't recall the last time i heard anyone refer to it by its original name.
