Fate Nemo Noah Fun

BUR #47154 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create implication noah_(second_ascension)_(fate/grand_order) -> noah_(fate)

Here's the tag that makes the current tag setup stop working, fwiw.

I suppose I should say we could alternatively move the tags to like… Nemo (Adult) (fate) or something, but either way the current setup is non-viable because having three tags named Nemo (Second Ascension) (Fate/Grand Order Arcade), Nemo (Second Ascension) (Fate/Grand Order), and Captain Nemo (Second Ascension) (Fate) is just a recipe for disaster and stupidity.

Aight, gonna slap this one in here also. We got two new characters introduced alongside Noah, his two messengers Dove and Raven. Take a look at their art and you'll see their designs are following in the footsteps of the intentional ambiguity of the Nemo series. Glancing at the scripts I didn't see any gendered language to refer to either of them, Type-Moon wiki has decided to use she/her pronouns for both of them, and the posts featuring them have been edit warred every single direction including unintentionally by me I guess.

So just asking before the tagging situation gets worse—does anyone have concrete proof of these two birbs genders or should we stick to 1othering them?

From what I'm aware of, fan translators much better at analyzing the text of that event than I seem to have settled on 'Female' for the birds. The main wiki also appears to similarly be running with that as a result. Though at the same time, I also acknowledge the gender ambiguity surrounding those two. So, if necessary, we can take the safe option of being gender ambiguous.

The information I know about the gender of Dove and Raven is as follows:

  • Louhi discovers them as "little girl-like figures," and thereafter treats them as little girls.
  • Other characters make no mention of their gender. They are basically referred to as "those kids." (あの子ら/子どもたち)
  • In the scenario, it is stated that they are the dove and raven released by Noah to confirm the end of the flood.
  • Their first-person pronouns are "あたし" and "わたし"
  • There is no mention in Noah in-game materials.
  • No mention of gender from the character designer (itefu).

…In other words, they are treated in a somewhat feminine manner, but their actual gender is unknown.
Therefore, I believe they should be considered 1other until clarified in a material book or interview, other events (if it’s ever explained).
