Wa maid doesn't imply Japanese clothes, should it or are the maid tags being kept separate for a reason?

Good question actually. Personally, I think why not. I'll make a separate BUR for that too.

A wa maid is essentially just a kimono with a maid apron, so if it's missing the Japanese clothes tag that means it's missing the kimono tag. Likewise, a qi maid post that is missing the Chinese clothes tag is usually missing the china dress tag.
