Separate thigh_holster into thigh_holster for guns and thigh_sheath for blades

Before 2021, thigh holster was the only tag used for both holster and sheath attached to the thigh.

Starting with post version 4436616.1 on 2021-03-27, thigh sheath started getting used. See: post history involving thigh_sheath.

Is it desirable / doable to separate thigh holster into two tags similar to holster and sheath?

Holster is supposed to be for guns, sheath is supposed to be for knives, and thigh pouch is supposed to be for everything else, so yes, they should be separated.

I'm confused about this as well. My understanding is that holster is only for guns but thigh holster implicates holster and defines that it can be used for knives as well

On the other hand, I cannot find any tags strictly for the storage of weapons other than guns or bladed weapons, such as baton (weapon), other than maybe weapon case which is concealed

I have found a number of posts containing tags for both holster and baton, such as post #5088462, post #5706252, and post #9406829 where I cannot find any firearms in the image that would explain that the holster tag was used not for the baton

Should the holster tag be updated to include non-bladed weapons, while keeping sheath for bladed weapons?
