Look at the "imminent" and "incoming" tags again. Notice how they all describe the action as "punch," "kick," etc.? They treat the action as an object moving toward the viewer rather than the process of that action like the base tags do ("punching," "kicking," etc.).
The tag should be renamed so saved searches, blacklists, and wiki information transfer over.
An alias is needed because it has over 200 posts (even more of a reason not to mass update). I'll leave it to someone else to decide whether we want to keep the alias.
I wonder if all the "pov verbing" tags should be renamed to "imminent verb" to reduce ambiguity. "pov stomping" would work but perhaps "pov bullying" and "pov stabbing" should be "incoming bully" and "incoming stab" (similar to incoming attack). Errr... some words work better than others.

the problem is that every straight-on and lots of from below become pov if pov meant just "it looks like the character is interacting with the viewer instead of just looking at the camera"
so the criteria for pov is that you can see the viewer's body like in pov legs and pov hands
basically everyone wants to add a new pov something like topic #33038 "viewfinder pov" that is just the viewfinder user interface as a border but none of these new povs can actually imply pov which kind of sucks imo because people will just start tagging more posts pov that shouldn't be pov
i'd even argue the opposite... that there should be an incoming or incoming action supertag to be used instead of pov when pov doesn't apply
edit: i went ahead and made the BUR #50174 for incoming action and wrote a the viewer wiki to replace all the "pov|the viewer" links on the booru. i don't know about the other verbs but pov stabbing should be incoming stab at least (BUR #50177)
