deprecate foot_up

Since foot_up is still widely misused, to the point where most of the entire first page of results directly contradict the wiki, I propose we deprecate the tag and replace them with leg up or stepping/uneven footing/Captain Morgan pose depending on the image. An alias won't work because we have two different groups using the tag in two different ways.

BUR #50333 has been rejected.

create alias captain_morgan_pose -> uneven_footing
create alias stepping -> uneven_footing

I don't see any difference between these tags. If there are differences, then we need to clearly define them. Otherwise, we should keep it to one tag.

I'm in favor of uneven footing as it is the most direct description of what is being depicted, but I think either stepping or uneven footing would be more intuitive than Captain Morgan pose.

BUR #50342 has been rejected.

deprecate stepping
mass update stepping -stepped_on -> stepping_on_object -stepping
create alias stepping_on_floor -> uneven_footing
create alias stepping_on_stairs -> uneven_footing

as the guy who removed over 200 posts from stepping yesterday, stepping can't be aliased to captain morgan pose since it can be used for stepping on things on the floor without doing the captain morgan pose.

stepping while sitting

i also thought stepping would be 90% identical to captain morgan pose since it was the tag i was using while gardening trampling and standing on person

it probably could be deprecated since the posts are basically identical to stepping in most cases, but if people want this pose specifically for some reason i don't personally care if the tag stays, but i'm probably never going to tag it

also as you can read on the wiki it doesn't count as stepping something that isn't actually seen stepping on something like

my proposal:

deprecate stepping and move all posts that aren't stepping on person (stepped on) to stepping on object. move stepping on stairs/floor to uneven footing

as for foot up, i do think it needs to be deprecated but leg up, knee up and leg lift are also pretty ambiguous tags imo. i think we need things like

knee up foot down: most morgan poses
knee down foot up: foot behind ass poses
on heels: because toes up isn't what it should be
soles upward: like heel drop split and the pose

i think we need a tag for like... the leg is lifted below 90 degrees vs. the leg is lifted above 90 degrees (like knees to chest and high kick). leg up and leg lift could be it but the names look almost the same so it's impossible to tell. maybe rename it like this?

leg up -> foot lift

but the problem we can't do this because of posts with the leg up that you can't see the foot

we also can't leg up -> knee lift because of

so leg up needs to stay. it might be fine if there were these other more specific tags?

edit: i'm now pretty sure knee down foot up won't work because it's too confusing when the knee is in front, but something like foot up heel up might. it also shows in heel up in autocomplete

BUR #50346 has been rejected.

deprecate captain_morgan_pose

alternative: if nobody particularly cares about this pose (my arched lower eyelids has more posts than this and uneven footing combined, btw, topic #33779) keep uneven footing for when a character isn't stepping on an object and just move the rest to stepping, then rename stepping to stepping on object as per the BUR #50342 above

I agree with this deprecation since we have a lot of alternatives pointed out in the wiki, just don't get ahead of yourself and edit the wiki as "ambiguos tag" before reaching a conclusion please

can i edit the wiki now?
