Oh Wow, This Live2D BUR is Awkward

BUR #52251 has been rejected.

remove implication live2d -> animated

Man, I really don't like the idea of requesting this, but unfortunately I was able to find cases where live2D was applicable as a tag, yet animated was not (post #10449939, post #10432458, etc). I don't think people searching for live2D animations want still references.

Hell, there's even this baffling line in the wiki:

When applicable and possible, animated Live2D posts should be tagged with both the original artist and the L2D rigger.

This line implies that there are cases where animated in inapplicable...Yet the implication exists, so which is it?

While I do think most live2D posts are going to be animated, if there's any reason for the animated tag to be inapplicable, it shouldn't be implied. Unless I'm just tagging these refs wrong. If that's the case, I'd like to know so I can reject this BUR.

While most live2d art is going to be animated, there will be exceptions.
Compare live2d with another GCI tool such as blender_(medium) -- they both take shapes+textures and perform transformations to produce new poses and such. Animation is a feature of those tools, but the artist isn't forced to use that feature, they can produce 'still' renders, which is still a valid use of the tool even when the art is 2D rather than 3D.

Live2D as it stands now is intended to be used as a description of how the post was animated, just like spine (medium) is. You don't draw using Live2D, so it shouldn't be on these posts. Images intended for Live2D animation are, by themselves, still just regular images or can even be submitted as reference sheets for commissions/previews like post #10041850.

ETA: Assets intended for Live2D animation were talked about in the BUR that implicated these (topic #19628), and it was stated they shouldn't be tagged as Live2D, so the implication probably has some anti-misuse roots going for it as well.

Okay, yep, I was just using the tag incorrectly then. Good to know! Time to reject this BUR now, as I had a feeling.
