Looking at dark_eldar -pointy_ears:

Checked the other tags and I couldn't find any false positives. A few copyright-specific tags already imply elf, though eldar doesn't.

For the 1st one it's the guy in the door way, that's a Dark Eldar Haemonculus, took me a sec, You can see the ears too.

Alternatively the Dark Elf tag could also be reinged into to just be more anime/drow esc Dark Elves (IE based on complection) and other ones would just use the elf tag + their own tags as it might rely to much on canon for some examples as is, as for example Dark Eldar are quite pale due to Commoragh being rather dark and not having a sun.

BUR #53034 has been rejected.

create implication dunmer -> dark_elf
create implication dark_elves_(warhammer_fantasy) -> dark_elf
create implication dark_eldar -> dark_elf

Various types of Dark Elves.

Are Elves who have brown skin really Dark Elves if they're from a franchise where they've got a unique culture and history and name and are more than just Elves who also have brown skin? The description of the tag is "Evil Elves with brown skin except sometimes they're not evil and sometimes their skin is blue or purple or some other colour". Should we tag World of Warcraft's Night Elves as Dark Elves?

Don't really get what the point of this is, beyond being just another example of a BUR made for the sole purpose of making a BUR.

i'll upvote this because dark elf is a shitty tag

If you truly think so, why do you want to give it implications? If it's a shitty tag then it should be broken up instead.

based on the definition the only acceptable replacement would be presumably evil elf

the name sounds like it's for dark-skinned elf but it's more like dark aura so it's more like corrupted elf except it's not even tag for the individual elf but an entire race tag umbrella for elves and obviously that's RACIST and NOT ALL DARK ELVES ARE EVIL (pirotess is a saint)

do you want to split this into dark-skinned elf and evil elf?

They’d all fall under Dark Elves as the tag currently stands, why else would I make said implication lmao

To slightly add, dark skin and black skin are already tags, so you could just get rid of the tag and use descriptive tags and/or faction tags plus elf to find stuff, IE for tan elves just elf plus whatever complexion tag.

For future reference; we do not imply copyright-specific tags to general tags. This was mentioned on another one of your topics but I think you made both of those before you were aware about this policy.

Makes sense, was only aware this applied to weapons/items, the other one was weird as various pieces of media have adapted it so wouldn’t be copyright unique.
