type of apron

I was checking the tags and saw half_apron, which didn't look right, so I was going to use the new tag waist_apron instead, only to find that the pics from it have gone.

I didn't create the tag but I think it is a good one for types of aprons that are not the usual: shoulder to ankles/hip type.

It seems going from just some searching on google, both half apron and waist apron are used to refer to that style of apron, so it comes down to whichever people would prefer to use for the tag.

I'd put my vote in favor of waist apron, but I'm bias since I made the tag to begin with.

Speaking of aprons, I'd also like to see a pinafore tag, but that's never going to happen, alas.

waist_apron and half_apron are both fine by me, but if waist_apron was older just go with that. I'll alias it.

Do you guys go by Google hits, or what makes the most sense?

I didn't see any post like that. There is one image tagged for pinafore. If there will be a pinafore tag, what will a tagger have to look for in the image?

Pinafore will never be a viable tag because there's too much disagreement as to how it's defined. For example, that one image tagged is just a regular apron. Alice is the best known example, although Wikipedia had a decent article last I checked: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinafore
