Scat is way too broad and there NEEDS to be a tag for anal jelly

scat is far too broad a tag for what it encompasses on this site and how divisive it is. There is enough of a gap between people who like seeing shit come out an ass and people into anal play which often involves jelly enemas and the like in Japanese porn. Every time I unlock my blacklisted tags to see if a post is questionably scat or not I roll the dice and half the time am treated to some poor girl rocket diarrhea-ing directly at my face.

Pixiv has multiple separate tags for this that draws a clear line between scat and various types of ass play. One is 疑似排泄 or gijinhaisetsu aka "pseudo excrement." This is generally tagged as "pseudo scat" on other boorus like r34. Of course a huge missing gap is just アナルゼリー (anal jelly) itself.

Also many posts that involve anal jelly adjacent fetishes are improperly tagged as personality excrement. The wiki for that tag itself mentions simple jelly play should be tagged as something else but no such tag exists.

post #8068910 itself only has ONE tag on the original pixiv post and that's gijinhaisetsu specifically, not personality excrement. I'm not going to correct it because otherwise it will have to be thrown into the shadowrealm that is the scat tag on this booru.

Here is a suggestion for things to add.

anal jelly is probably the easiest. Personality excrement isn't always jelly so it would help divide that tag. It could also be used to differentiate enema tags and of course removes a ton of improperly labeled scat content (I really do not want to be the one to dig through that literal and figurative pile of shit though)

Second would be pseudo excrement. This would cast a bit wider net as sometimes but it gets the point across if a bit wordy.

Last would be anal_object_expulsion. There's kind of a lot of posts on here and pixiv that's just a girl pushing out anal beads or something and I'm not sure if a substance like jelly directly fits the image of an "object" the same way a plug does but there are some very specific tags on this site so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Scat is extremely broad because the number of people who want to see it are a rounding error compared to the ones who don't. The utility of the tag is that you can add it to your blacklist and don't have to see that very broad range of content. If you want to add subtags sure, but unless it is replaced by a single tag that covers everything, the broad usage should stay like this.

So basically you are suggesting everyone who is into anal play that doesn't involve actual shit can't use this site effectively? If you simply blacklist a tag like scat you have to see all the stuff you don't want to if you're looking for something more specific. If you just add something like enema or anal jelly to the default blacklist tag there's thousands of posts that can be added without alienating a ton of people

I agree that if you're browsing for personality excrement/anal jelly and you find the brownest turd known to anime girl you'll be pretty pissed off. But the problem is that these tags often blend together, so if we want anal jelly to work it'd have to basically be some kind of venn diagram tag that mostly overlaps with personality excrement except for when it's got ridges.

The fundamental problem here, however, is that to the average user anal jelly just looks like shit/diarrhea. Most people aren't going to make or care about the distinction.

Here's an example of mistagging hiding a post. The majority of jelly posts do not have scat, despite popular belief. This post #11036577 is a case where the lack of diversity in tags is causing intentional mis-tagging and blacklisting. Nowhere is personality excrement mentioned on any original posts of it nor is the art itself implying it. Clearly moderation is cool with let's call it "scat adjacent" things that clearly do not involve actual scat to dodge the tag yet posts like this slip through because its not easy to declare what category it falls into without tags like pseudo excrement or anal jelly

I agree and to ammend the divide my suggestion is creating a seperate tag pseudo scat that is a default blacklist. It would spare people like me who don't mind seeing more niche anal play but absolutely do not want to see genuine shit, and spare people who view the jelly as scat as there are a ton of posts NOT labeled scat that contain it.

The name itself also makes it pretty clear what you're getting if you disable the blacklist.

There's at least 1000 posts on pixiv alone of only gijinhaisetsu and no true scat.

As someone who uploads scat, I understand that most people don't want to see it and I have to tag it as such. If we split personality excrement, it would necessarily still have to be a scat tag because most people are resistant to seeing logs exit people's asses.

Totally agree and am fine with that, but keeping scat as a blanket term really screws with a lot. I'd say half of the female ejaculation / squirting posts on here are just girls peeing if seen without the sexual context, but its understandable that most people do not want to see an anime girl just pop a squat and start pissing. I'd say the same thing should be done for anal jelly. I get most people don't want to see it but it seems unfair to make anyone who does also have to literally dig through shit to find it.

People who may be interested in that kind of stuff also use these sites because its easier to navigate than pixiv or fantia with almost no Japanese reading comprehension. Without the extra tags to mark the divide there's no way they can search for it on external sites that DO have them because I'm gonna be 100% even I don't know this kanji without previously hearing the term on a forum 疑似排泄 (I had to use the furigana on pixiv).

I created a tag pseudo_scat. How do I get someone to add it to the default blacklist? This would encompass anal_jelly which I plan on creating later, personality excrement and the like. scat already encompasses both on this site and is the main pain point I have. You can't search for non shit scat without seeing the poop stuff. You can't because under scat feces is not a seperate tag. I have two posts currently under the pseudo_scat tag I added. You can see that one which was previously labeled as scat cannot be seen without turning off the scat blacklist. It would be much less messy (no pun intended) to create the pseudo tag and retroactively add the posts which CURRENTLY are not blacklisted for people who do not want to see that.

By defenition per the scat wiki and like, google, scat involves defecation specifically. To label things like enema play without actual feces as scat is just not correct.

You should just forget the idea of getting the default blacklist changed. It's very unlikely to happen. You can make an anal_jelly or whatever shit tags you want but they will have to remain tagged as scat because everyone else has it blacklisted.

Blacklist modifications are a massive pain so they are kept to a bare minimum. Hence it'd be easier (and also just better) to make a tag that encomapsses it all, and then let that take on the task of what scat does currently. After that, scat can be cleaned up into the subtags as you described.

I have tagged a bunch of posts with pseudo scat, but only when they are seen excreting it, and not posts where they just present it like post #9968305
