Yeah, Ukrainian spelling (Kyiv) vs Russian spelling (Kiev) again, but the Russian spelling is still more commonly used in the context of a dish. And Wikipedia uses the Russian spelling too. Same as why we've aliased Chornobyl to Chernobyl and Prypiat to Pripyat.

Why does this tag use the Ukrainian spelling again?

EDIT: The tag seems to be about a TF2 cosmetic which makes the usage of Ukrainian spelling straight-out wrong. The wiki is about a dish though.

Perhaps the tag should have a qualifier to distinguish the cosmetic item from the food. For example, chicken kiev (tf2).

Why does this tag use the Ukrainian spelling again?

The user in question who updated the tag manually famously attempts to force Ukrainian spelling when Russian spelling is more common in English. They also tried doing the same for Chernobyl and Pripyat, and have also done so with other tags like Olga of Kyiv. So that's the answer.

They're so obsessed they don't even bother checking the contents of the tag before forcing the spelling, which is why they made a wiki for Chicken Kiev the dish when the tag was for Chicken Kiev the TF2 cosmetic.
