rename kaiser_pmc_(blue_archive) -> kaiser_pmc_corruption

I would like to propose reverting this tag to its original name. this tag was originally created as kaiser_pmc_corruption before being updated to kaiser_pmc_(blue_archive). While the current name might have been intended to align with standard franchise tagging, it is very likely to be mistaken for a tag referring to the "Kaiser PMC" faction itself (such as post #9361975 or post #7728967).

Both the original intent of the tag and its actual content align with the Pixiv tag "Kaiser PMC Corruption" (カイザーPMC堕ち). This refers to a specific theme involving corruption and/or mind control—specifically, hypothetical scenarios where students are captured and subsequently brainwashed or "re-educated" by Kaiser PMC to join their ranks as combatants. Visually, this theme typically features distinctive erotic uniforms, body tattoos, and alterations to the design or color of the students' halos.

It is worth noting that this is a purely fan-created concept. In canon, there is no indication that Kaiser PMC possesses such capabilities or intent to carry out such brainwashing on students (otherwise they would have easily resolved the foreclosure task force issue long ago). Additionally, the signature leotard uniform design was first introduced by artist gozaru in post #9432639 (as a paywalled variation), which then sparked this trend within the Blue Archive community.

In summary, renaming the tag back to kaiser_pmc_corruption would make its thematic nature much clearer and prevent any confusion with the faction itself. A copyrightt qualifier could also be added if necessary (though I don't think there is much risk of confusion here).

I'd love to hear what others (and @Damian0358, who previously updated the tag) think about this adjustment.

The reason why I had previously renamed the tag was because Kaiser PMC Corruption feels conceptually narrow when considering how we normally do this with faction tags. Using another copyright as an example, there's plenty of art of Girls' Frontline's Dolls being depicted with Sangvis Ferri corruption (sangvis_ferri corruption / sangvis_ferri dark_persona), and we even have a quasi-canonical instance of it with Elphelt Valentine (Doll Annihilator).

However, the fact that this is a purely fan-created concept I think changes things. The name of the tag doesn't communicate that at all and, if you weren't any wiser, you'd probably assume it'd have some basis in canon. If it gets changed back to "Kaiser PMC Corruption" it needs to have a qualifier or something indicating its noncanonicity.

That makes sense, but what qualifier should be added? I don't think I've come across any similar examples here. Would something like kaiser_pmc_corruption_(fan_concept) work?

Or alternatively, maybe we could treat it as a costume tag to specifically designate that green leotard gozaru designed (which appears most frequently), naming it something like kaiser_pmc_suit_(gozaru).

However, while the vast majority of images uploaded to Danbooru featuring this theme are based on that design, other variations do exist—such as this pixiv post and this pixiv post. There's also this post #11716887, though that looks less like a uniform and more like themed lingerie. While the outfit designs in fanarts aren't always consistent, the overall vibe and concept remains.

Also, that octopus-shaped Kaiser logo tattoo remains fairly constant across all of these works. If we do decide to go the costume tag route, perhaps we should create a separate tag for that tattoo as well.

This seems to be the same concept as abyssal ship transformation and alter servant, i.e. good characters being turned into the evil faction. Also seen with characters like Misty wearing the Team Rocket uniform. There's probably a broader tag we could come up with for this (which is not to say these copyright-specific tags shouldn't still exist).

That actually aligns with what I consider the core definition of corruption should be.

What danbooru currently groups under the single corruption tag is often split into two distinct concepts on other platforms (like e-hentai):
1. Corruption: This corresponds exactly to the Japanese term akuochi (悪堕ち, lit. "fall into evil"). A character alignment shift from the good guys to the antagonistic/evil faction, often via supernatural or sci-fi means (which, on danbooru, currently overlaps heavily with dark persona).
2. Moral Degeneration: A character shifting from purity to lewdness/depravity, without necessarily changing faction or ideology (though I've never liked the term "moral degeneration" itself for it can be a bit misleading).

While the current tag structure on Danbooru works, in my experience, the audiences for these two specific tropes/fetishes don't completely overlap. It would be excellent if the two could eventually be distinguished more clearly, though I understand the potential concerns regarding tag fragmentation.
