Matches how we handle holding unworn hat, holding unworn necktie, ect.
We also have holding removed eyewear which always trips me up, should that be renamed to holding unworn eyewear as well?

If that's the case then also requesting these for consistency. Do we also need specific tags to determine if a single shoe/piece of footwear is being held, because I also saw the tag holding unworn boot being used. Also should a more general tag be implied from all of these tags? something like holding_unworn_footwear?

I don’t think there’s much difference between holding one or two shoes. Not sure about an umbrella tag.
