Account question.

What are the differences between having an unprivileged account and having no account at all? Without logging in, you can still view the same images, artist pages, etc., right? The only differences seem to be being able to make comments and upload images.

Saving favourites, statistics, etc. And I think the above mentioned things alone are enough to have an account.

You can only search for a single tag without an account. As registered user you can combine tags to narrow down your search.

And since uploading images is the major way to get a privileged account, I'd say that's a pretty big difference, no?

As you might have understood, an account is much more beneficial than being anonymous. With an accound and posts, you help the community, which is prefered.

If not, that'd be a reason for me to try get an invite, I have way too many pics in my upload queue.

Not sure of that, since I'm not one, but registered users are limited to 2. Dunno about anynomous, might be the same ammount per IP. Anyways, over 2 per hour helps alot and I wish that I'd have that priviledge. Maybe someday.

No they're not limited. And I just invited you anyway since getting full versions of all those tomoeda scans was awesome.

Heh, thanks. Though they aren't scans since he's doing them as CG, so they're just wallpaper versions he's posted on his blog. There are different resolutions too but I figured just posting the largest one of each should be fine. This is pretty off-topic though so I'll shut up now.

Er, yeah, I don't know why I said scans, it's not what I meant. But yeah, it seems like most of the tomoeda stuff tended to be oddly cropped (taken from the background images on his site) so getting the full versions was nice.
