Special searches

I've been going through some older posts and tagging artists I recognize, when I found many posts that had a tag for the series but no character tags.

Is there a way to search, for example "to_heart_2 -char:*", i.e. posts tagged with the series but that don't have any character tags? The tagme tag doesn't help since many posts don't have it, for example post #57283. I suppose I could just narrow it down by removing characters related to the series until none remain, but a special search would make it easier especially for series with a huge cast of characters.

Similarly, searching for posts by an artist that don't have any copyright or character tags would be useful as well.

I suggested something like this recently, sort of - being able to search images with only one particular char: type tag. So yes it would be good to be able to search by types as a descriptor of the image too, rather than just of tags.

My usual approach was to take off one character at a time and make a tag script with that character's name, and just go through the list clicking each relevant thumbnail.
