Dogenzaka about 14 years ago The Bleach one. I probably should've been more specific. Reply Copy ID Copy Link

Soljashy about 14 years ago The spelling "Sui-Feng" appears consistent with the pinyin for 砕蜂, though somebody with more knowledge of Chinese should probably confirm this. The spelling "Soifon" is clearly based on the Japanese pronunciation, which is given a katakana spelling of ソイフォン. Log about 14 years ago I believe in the case of bleach we came to a consensus to just use whatever kubo says because all of the names are in some imaginary world that makes no damn sense in any real language. Reply Copy ID Copy Link
Soljashy about 14 years ago Well, at least in this case, "whatever Kubo says" seems to be in agreement with the Chinese anyway, so there's not much contest to this alias. Reply Copy ID Copy Link
sgcdonmai about 14 years ago +1 to this. Kubo did at least try fairly hard with this one. Reply Copy ID Copy Link
