Miku/Vocaloid

I notice that a lot of hatsune_miku pics are getting uploaded (mostly by albert) without the vocaloid tag. I keep adding them every so often though.

I also noticed that some anonymous was going around removing them from a number of pics I added them to.

Is there a specific reason why the copyright tag should be left off her images? Or is it just an oversight on albert's part and tag trolling on anonymous' part?

As far as I have heard and seen, she originated with this Vocaloid "artificial-idol" program, is featured prominently on the product's official page, and is not a character adopted from some other place. And if she is from something else, then she should still be tagged with that at least.

Anyway, thoughts? I plan to keep adding the vocaloid tag unless someone has relevant information I lack.

You're right. The only reason I don't add the Vocaloid tag is because at the moment the only other Vocaloid, Meiko, has like one image. The two are pretty much synonymous in my mind.

I'm just thinking from the perspective of people looking at the character and going "She's getting dozens of uploads, but what the hell is she from?" So nothing to lose in tagging it, I guess.

You know, at this point we might as well alias leek to spring onion. There's eight pages of leek, and every single picture is actually a spring onion.
