Can't seem to delete artist entries

I made an entry for teatea, who uses "tea" as an alias sometimes, and I added that alias cause, well, I'm an idiot. So after that I found out that there's another artist that uses tea already on danbooru and the whole alias is obnoxious since there's the "tea" object and all, I decided to make amends by deleting my "tea" alias.

So, when I go to press the [D], it says "are you sure you want to delete?" and I click "ok", and then... Nothing.

I removed the alias from the teatea entry, but now it's still around as an orphan artist with no info. I don't know if it's a non-privileged thing (I can see why--it'd be easy to sabotage), but anyway can somebody get rid of that tea entry?

EDIT: I fixed it myself by putting a "general:" in front of a "tea" tag somewhere. I guess the only thing I have to say then is that the "D" for delete doesn't seem to work.

I unfortunately created the artist #9212 before throughly checking that it was already created. I used "sugar" and "シュガー", so it hijacked "シュガー" from #7994 as an alias to #9212.

Is this correct behavior? Should #9212 have "stole" #7995 from #7994? I'm assuming it's cause an artist can only have one parent, but perhaps a warning should be given saying it's already taken or something?

I switched the alias back to #7994, and tried to delete #9212. I suppose we can we assume that only Privileged or higher can delete artists? This post nor the artist:help says for sure whether this is true.
