Suggestion: Smarter "favorite tags" guessing

Posted under General

I really like the idea of the "favorite tags" list in the profile page. But it seems like it could be made more unique to the user. For instance, it seems that pretty much everyone is bound to have tags like "breasts" in their favorite tags list, because so many images are tagged with it. Could the tags in your favorites list be compared to the commonality of the tag in the greater pool of images, rather than just tallied?

For example, if 20% of my favorites are tagged "wide_hips", but only 1% of all danbo images are tagged "wide_hips", my 20x-normal representation of that tag should be what counts, not the raw quantity of my favorites that are tagged that way.

Does that make sense? I see albert has posted that calculating things like favorite tags and similar users is pretty expensive, so maybe this would be even worse. But it would make for more interesting, unique profiles, and possibly a very nice recommendation system someday.
