Moving the upload button

I think the link for the upload page should be up there between 'Comments' and 'Notes' because otherwise I can't reach it most of the times because of 'take it easy'.

You could go to More -> Upload as well. That bypasses the actual index.

Or you could type danbooru.donmai.us/post/upload in your location bar, it's not that difficult.

Oof, there it is in "More »", I always forget about that button. Sorry.

But shouldn't it be up there anyway? If I'm using Endless Danbooru Pages I have go to "More »" anyway because the Upload button keeps running away.

Or you can take my suggestion. Did you know you can edit your own posts?

What is this obsession you have with the number of posts I make?

If you can just type in danbooru.donmai.us/post/upload to upload then you can do that for everything up there. Maybe we should just get rid of it all.

From now on, everyone should refer to these links to go to where they need to.

But, I thought the purpose of those links conveniently being up there was to be user friendly and help you for those links you go to the most. Well, since danbooru runs off people's uploads, it is very important that it should be up there.

I personally think it should be right after "My Account", just because it's that important. What keeps danbooru running, people's pics, or people's comments? How many people click on Pools? Trac?

If it wasn't such a pain in the ass sometimes to upload a pic, I'd do it more often. Just saying.

Just to get this out of the way first, I agree Upload should be in there.

However, there are two even better ways: 1) a bookmark toolbar link to the upload page. 2) the danbooruuop extension.

I have not used danbooru.donmai.us/post/upload in a long, long time because of #2. Only time I used it is when danbooruup didn't work.

Of course, it's not FF3 compatible yet, which is still holding me back from upgrading from FF2...

I have limited time with work and such so anything that can help with uploading is great.

Is there a different upload button than the one I've been using at the bottom of the posts screen? Granted, I don't up much, but I've never had a problem with that once I learned it was there. Before I found it, I manually typed the url as mentioned above, though.

I choose it over the default upload page because:
- Don't have to open a new tab to upload something
- Simple right click > upload image to danbooru
- History-based autocomplete
- Find Artist option seems to be more accurate (also history based?)
- Tags colored in drop-down
- Ability to see related tags

Basically, if I'm uploading something I've done many times before (thus it's first or second in the dropdown after I type the first letter), it can take literally 3 seconds to tag and upload an image.

But, again, not FF3 compatible. ::hint, hint::

Well, I guess this add-on easier for those using firefox.
