I know i have upload my artwork post #3729135 but it unapproved and delete i know i am now improve my style but i need be polished artwork
but i need stylus to draw rather than my barehand so yeah i can't drawing artwork but i still can write the story instead

Check the upload help page, before you upload stuff on danbooru.

Uploading One's Own Art is Sacrilege
Posting one's own art is severely frowned upon, and there are two reasons behind this:

Firstly, artists tend to be biased when it comes to judging the quality of their own work. What looks good to you may be regarded as mediocre to Danbooru moderators.
Secondly, allowing posting of own work (self-posting) will cause a sudden spike of sub-par uploads as users mistake us for another Pixiv or Deviantart, far beyond the scope and capacity of Danbooru.
More suitable sites to upload your own art to include Deviantart and Pixiv.

post #3642305 - why did this version got unapproved? if SFW version is okay then NSFW should too, no?

Just because a sfw version is fine, doesn't mean the NSFW version is as good as the original. I think that the approvers don't like this focus on her lower body like this.

Are approvers discouraged from or feel like they should shy away from approving too much art from a single artist that's uploaded within a short amount of time?

Nope. Uploads are supposed to be judged individually.

Comparing your approved uploads with the unapproved ones, there’s a clear pattern there, though: The unapproved ones are mostly sketches and otherwise rough drawings, mostly monochrome or with just a bit of color slapped on, and it’s mostly just a single character with no background. Those just aren’t popular unless there’s something specifically appealing about them, such a as a good joke or a well-executed uncommon pose. Your approved posts are almost all of the same type too: one colored character with no background. Those are probably too bland for most of the approvers, so you end up always seeing the same few approvers.

If you don’t want to see your uploads go unapproved, you should stay away from the bland single character sketches.

Thanks, it's reassuring to have a definite answer about my uploads then. But damn it's conflicting if I should just try that art on another booru, since I legit like it and uploads gets reuped elsewhere regardless of approvals, I'd rather have stuff go on multiple sites but then I'd probably be stuck with a low upload limit and feel like I'm clogging the approval queue too often if that's the way it is.

Not to derail this thread too much but I undeleted a bunch of your monochrome uploads (the ones I thought were good enough to keep) but as kittey said you should probably easy up a bit on uploading those.

I uploaded 12 images and only one was approved. I understand why the pony-related stuff was denied (I didn't realize that danbooru no longer accepted that stuff when I posted it) and I understand why my videos were denied (now that I've skimmed through this forum, anyway) and I THINK I understand why the the giant group picture was denied (I'm guessing that it's because of the fact that it isn't much more than a rough sketch).

I'm starting to suspect that the ONLY reason why my one picture was approved was because it was the very first picture from "Lady Justice," a manga that was never represented on here before this point. I'm guessing that the staff wanted at least one picture to be approved from a brand-new copyright. That's my best guess at least, because the other three manga panels were all rejected.

However, the two pictures in particular that I'm begging you to reconsider are my last two uploads. The first one is just because I want there to be just ONE picture of Iustitia that's actually in color. And the second one is because that is the ONLY picture that mots has that left that isn't a crude sketch with a better version behind a paywall.

I guess that post was approved because the approver thought it was cool or something. In general, pages from commercial publications are never approved. Don’t upload those. Danbooru is not a scanlation site. Stick to Mangadex for that.

Link to posts you want feedback for. :(

The first one is just because I want there to be just ONE picture of Iustitia that's actually in color.

post #3732429 gets major minus points for the extreme anatomical and perspective choices, though.

And the second one is because that is the ONLY picture that mots has that left that isn't a crude sketch with a better version behind a paywall.

It being the only picture by some artist doesn’t matter. post #3732440 is just kinda meh, especially the shading, IMO.

post #3732429 was also the a cover from a commercial publication, so that might be the real reason why it was rejected.

This next part is going to make my sound like an immature asshole, but I have to speak my mind here. I can't remember the last time that I was this disappointed in a website. I'm not going to point fingers and blame anybody in particular, but I'm honestly shocked right now.

I saw that this site contained MLP content drawn in anime style, so I posted some of that. I saw that this site contained clips from animes, so I posted some of that. I saw that this site contained manga pages, and there wasn't a single piece of "Lady Justice" on here, so I was particularly excited to post some of that.

Then I discovered that the approvers just changed their minds about MLP content a long time ago. Then I discovered that the approvers just changed their minds about anime clips a long time ago. Then I discovered that the approvers generally don't accept manga pages but accept a few now and again with seemingly no rhyme or reason. In hindsight, I definitely should have read the "How to upload" guide, but instead I just took a quick look at the content that was here, decided that this place appeared to accept all things anime, and I started posting things.

But what's most baffling is that a freaking IMAGE BOARD has a team of actual people that accept or reject images en masse like they're looking for matches on tinder. I understand that this is the best way to keep out the TRULY awful posts, but I am still stunned that an imageboard has this high of standards. Sometimes. But one glance at the front page shows me that there are much more low quality images than post #3732440 but they all got accepted because accounts with the "Approve Posts" permission get special privileges the likes of which I have never seen before.

I am never going to try to post anything here again. That sounds like an angry final word that I'm just throwing around for the sake of complaining, but it's not. It's just an honest fact. I'm done here. I'm just so disappointed. And I'm not even really disappointed in danbooru, honestly. I'm just disappointed in general. I'm not leaving because I'm mad, I'm leaving because this site was absolutely NOT what I expected it to be...

If you really did that then you would have noticed that this post would never have made the cut.
It's just anatomical nonsense. No hip in the world looks like this.

Also post #3732440 has several issues.
From the thumbnail alone I can tell that the girl has no pubic area, asymmetric arms and presumably thighs and a slightly off-centered neck.
Then you click on it and notice the fairly amateurish shading (especially the eyes look like they're just drawn onto the face).
It's a post that will get flagged instantly (propably) as indicated by the -3 score it also has.

post #3732440 isn't perfect, but it's better than a lot of the stuff that people with "approve posts" permission are uploading, and I'm thankful that it's been approved, now. I'm still disappointed that 90% of the stuff I was planning on uploading generally isn't allowed anymore, but maybe I'll stick around. I dunno.

For the record, "there are worse stuff uploaded" is never a valid reason to get something approved. If you see bad shit getting uploaded flag it instead if it's truly bad.

Fair enough. I'm not trying to start a fight, here. I'm just trying to say that this booru turned out to be VERY different than the impression that I got from browsing its content. That's all.

Mostly because of the awful limb proportions. Way too thin and way too long for most of these images.
The rest to which this doesn't apply has rather poorly facial proportions.

post #3735988 - proportions are the same as in other pictures of the same author (post #2734251, post #3736075, post #3004864), but they are approved

post #3735985 - Do not approve of the post because of cartoon face painting?

post #3731716, post #3731759, post #3731736, post #3731725 - such a face painting is the style of this author, and I do not think that it is so bad that it should not be approved (post #3718473, post #3733433 for example)

post #3731727 - I don’t see mistakes at all. It seems to me that you are too nit-picking on pictures with men (The image from the post above was approved, but my post was not approved, seriously?)

And to other posts I have the same question.
For example, post #3736571. Maybe I need to add a tag "sketch" for you to approve it?

post #3737855 - Will you talk about bad proportions again?

post #3738453 and post #3738472 - The artist’s twitter posts were deleted before I found these images. I found only the link (https://www.zerochan.net/Hemoon) where this author was indicated. What should I do next? Or will you say bad proportions again?
