The "so_moe_i'm_gonna_die!" tag

Posted under General

At first I was going to respond saying that I think there's nothing wrong with subjective tags, that it isn't hurting anyone, and that it can be funny at times. But then I realized that since it is subjective, there would be tag-changing wars breaking out, "It's moe!" "No, it's not moe!" "Yes, it's moe!" etc.

Yeah, that's part of it. Hence the drama over the 'what' tag.

I saw this tag a while ago and would have removed it from all images present, except it seemed (superficially at least) to have been unilaterally added by Bansho, who's a privileged user - thus, I figured there was some good reason for it, perhaps the name of a meme, or something, though I don't really see much of a connection between the pics so tagged.

Well there is one pic tagged as such which is the actual original doujin page containing this, so I think the tag could be used for that, or other pics which actually contain the phrase. But the tag being used just to describe a girl's appearance is no.

Then again, if there are only 1 or 2 pics that actually contain the phrase, there isn't much point in it having its own tag.

Edit: nvm, looks like you already untagged the ones that don't contain the phrase. It's happily ever after.
