"API Key Temporarily Disabled"?

Can someone please explain to me what this means? Also, is this a bad thing to have? What can I do to get it enabled again? There's a few things I need my API key for such as smartphone apps for Danbooru and want to have it available when needed. Can anyone help me?

It's not something you did. The key was hidden from everyone's profile (although it still works if you know what it is) due to a security flaw. It will be added back once we're sure the flaw is fixed (it should be already).

It being displayed on the profile page is disabled for everyone because of a bug with security.
You can still get your API key from your cookie (under "cookie_password_hash").

Alternatively, the old login method (salted sha1 hash of your password) still works as well.

Thank you so much for this. I can now use my apps again~! I just got Gold and then I saw my key was dead so I had a mini heartbreak. But thanks again!
