so I was doing a totally great job of paying attention to my computer screen just a moment ago when I noticed that instead of clicking about five inches up, I had inadvertently clicked the "Flag for deletion" button on a comment. obviously, I didn't mean to, but this raised an issue to me: how about pop-up confirmations for flagging so accidental flags don't happen? flag flag flag.
either way, I'm a dumbass. apologies to whoever has/had to deal with my stupid accident.

yeah, we don't seem to get many troll/spam comments, and the only reasons I ever see comments deleted for is when they consist of a single word, and, well, there aren't THAT many of those (they do get kind of annoying when there's 3-4 in a row on a meme-related picture or something).
I considered suggesting a reason field as well, but I assumed that anyone reviewing a comment in order to delete it would be able to determine the reason it was flagged. plus, I'm not quite sure how the moderating/coding stuff works on here, so I'm a little unsure about what kind of changes can actually work on the site.
I had the same problem. I'm only concerned with the person reviewing the comment I accidentally flagged, and how they may react to my accident. Could I get penalized for it? Would this person always have a negative affect on me? I've only done it twice, but it would only be convenient.
